It is with great sadness that we inform you that one of our co-founders, Kristel Rose Tedesco, passed away in January, 2020.  Kristel, who combined science and dance in her research, was known throughout the Atlanta community as a spark of light, originality, and magic. Her passing hits hard as she touched so many lives. Kristel produced and directed performances for the 2017 and 2018 Atlanta Science Festival, and wrote and taught a curriculum based on her research at Cambridge High School. Her production of The Seven Bridges of Königsberg with Evans Harrell and Chaowen Ting was selected as one of the first ten projects funded by Science in Vivo to create innovative ways to engage the public in science. Without her, Mathematics in Motion would not exist. She will be missed.
