During the week 18-24 October our friends at the Gathering for Gardner are hosting 21 free online presentations at 12 noon, 4pm, and 8pm ET (Eastern US time). The Mathematics-in-Motion team has been involved in some of them:
Two of the presentations (Paula Apsell and Moon Duchin) are Public Lectures (co-sponsored by Georgia Tech), on Science Communication and Gerrymandering, respectively, and will be accessed via BlueJeans (not Zoom). Apsell will speak on Thursday, 21 October, at 4:00, and Duchin will speak on Saturday, 23 October, at 4:00. Although the speakers will be joining by video, an auditorium will be available for a live audience on the Georgia Tech campus.
Matt Baker will present one of the two magic shows.
